2019 Novel-Writing Challenge, Week 12

I just made it to 50,018 words and officially have a novel-length work of fiction.

The problem? It’s not finished. In order for this to actually become a novel, in my mind, it should have a beginning, middle, and end. The end seems to be the hard part here.

Furthermore, up until now, I’ve been motivating myself via daily word count goals. Now that I’ve reached my desired word count, I need to find a way to stay disciplined and hold myself accountable for actually getting to the ending.

My first step, probably: Figuring out exactly how I want this to end. I thought I had an idea, but it turns out it’s too vague and undefined. I’ll be thinking about this. Stay tuned!
