A combination of personal and professional reasons caused me to drop this project for almost exactly 2 months. Yesterday, after 2 amazing years at Education First/Go Ahead Tours, I left my job. After a month off, I’ll join the engineering team at a video software company called Wistia.
What I’m most excited for about my month off: It gives me time to return to this project!
I wrote my first post-hiatus 555 words about an hour ago. It was easier to get back to writing than I thought it would be. I continue to be grateful for the extensive character sketches and plot outline I created back in February and March. It helps to have a plan for where I want to go next.
